Sound connoisseurs know that the sound system in new Mercedes vehicles often sounds rather mediocre, leaving you wanting an upgrade. The VISION VXM speakers were developed precisely for this situation. Conventional standard speakers don’t fit in Mercedes vehicles. These models even require different 20 cm woofers with special mounting dimensions for the driver and passenger sides. To save weight, ESX manufactures the subwoofers in a lightweight ABS construction, with robust metal grilles at the front for protection. Like all VXM speakers, they also feature efficient and powerful neodymium magnets.

Since very linear reproduction is particularly important in the midrange, the 10 cm VXM models use extremely lightweight fiberglass cones. The VXM4.2C 2-way component, equipped with separate tweeters, is recommended for the front doors, and the VXM42 coaxial set for the rear. Both feature lightweight silk domes for optimal high-frequency reproduction. The VXM40F center speaker, thanks to its second voice coil, can be connected to the Mercedes SOS system.

CSM1T 25 MM (1″) Titanium Neodymum Tweeter

During development, the new CSM loudspeakers for Mercedes-Benz vehicles were also designed to significantly improve the sound and increase power handling compared to the original systems. Super-lightweight fiberglass cones and efficient neodymium magnet drives ensure powerful sound performance in the CSM models, even at low amplifier power. The 10 cm loudspeakers, on the other hand, are equipped with not-so-small 30 mm CCAW voice coils, which also deliver a magnificent sound experience. The 25 mm CSM1T titanium tweeter (also included with the CSM4.2C) with neodymium magnet drive impresses with a linear frequency response up to over 20 kHz and crystal-clear highs.
